Why the NiSi V7 filter system has everything I need

from David Stenitzer

Admittedly, I'm not really a landscape photographer, and filters are rarely used in wildlife photography. Nevertheless, it was landscape photography that originally motivated me to buy a camera, and I keep trying my hand at it. The filters from NiSi definitely help me with this.

For me, filters are simply a must when photographing waterfalls. The NiSi True Color polarising filter enhances the colours particularly well.

I have been particularly enthusiastic about the NiSi V7 filter system in recent years. Before I started working with NiSi products, I usually only used classic, rather cheaper screw-in filters. However, as soon as I wanted to use more than one filter, a strong vignette quickly appeared with wide-angle lenses.

The landscapes I photograph most often have to do with waterfalls. I like to use a polarising filter and an ND filter for this. With the V7 filter system, several filters can be used without restrictions and you have maximum flexibility.

No matter how wide the angle: with the NiSi V7 filter system, you never have problems with unwanted vignettes. But the true strength of the filters is in the colour rendition. There are no unwanted colour shifts and I have less to worry about. The NiSi True Color polarising filter, for example, effectively eliminates reflections without distorting the colours. For me, this is precisely the decisive factor why I like working with NiSi filters so much: they make it easy for me. Especially as someone who doesn't work with filters on a daily basis, it is particularly important to me that they are easy to use so that I can concentrate fully on the process of photography.

The NiSi V7 filter system is a worthwhile investment for ambitious photographers who value quality and flexibility. It offers a comprehensive range of features that are convincing in most photographic situations. The high-quality workmanship, easy handling and excellent optical performance make the V7 filter system an indispensable companion for landscape and nature photography in my opinion.
