V7 Night Kit

The NiSi 100mm V7 Night Kit is the perfect set for night photography and offers everything you need to get started. The kit includes the V7 filter holder, the Natural Night filter, the Star Soft filter, as well as the most common adapter rings (67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm), with additional adapters available separately. A filter pouch and cleaning accessories are also included to ensure the filters are always ready for use.

V7 Filter Holder

The NiSi V7 100mm filter holder with True Color CPL and lens cap is the most advanced 100mm filter system we have ever developed. Based on feedback from photographers, the design has been refined and allows the use of up to three 100mm wide and 2mm thick filters.

Made from high-quality, CNC-machined aviation aluminum, the V7 filter holder offers a robust construction and a matte black, frosted finish that minimizes reflections. Thanks to a special rotating wheel, the CPL filter can be rotated independently of the other filters used via a gear on the back of the holder.

Natural Night 

The NiSi Natural Night filter is a filter specifically designed for night photography. Mercury vapor lamps, sodium vapor lamps, and street lamps with a low color rendering index contain many unwanted light wavelengths that pollute the night sky. The glow of these lights can prevent your camera from seeing the sky properly and affect your night shots. The NiSi Natural Night filter blocks these light wavelengths, reduces incoming light by 1 stop, and preserves the clarity of your night shots.

Star Soft

The NiSi Star Soft filter is specifically designed for astrophotography and makes stars appear larger, so constellations stand out more clearly. The brighter a star is, the larger it is depicted, making the night sky sparkle in your shots.

The upper half of 100mm of the filter shows the full effect, while the lower half of 50mm remains clear and without effect. This way, the filter can be positioned to highlight the stars without affecting the foreground. Some photographers also like to use the effect in the foreground by sliding the filter completely into the holder to apply the effect to the entire scene.

Note: Our adapter rings provide a reliable and secure connection between your filter holder/filter and your lens. Please tighten the adapter rings only so that your fingers can easily slip through – this ensures optimal hold while preserving the material. Tightening further is not necessary.
