Mercury vapor lamps, sodium vapor lamps, and streetlights with a low color rendering index contain many unwanted light wavelengths that pollute the night sky. The glow of these lights can prevent your camera from seeing the sky properly and affect your night shots. The NiSi Natural Night Filter blocks these light wavelengths, reduces incoming light by 1 stop, and preserves the clarity of your night shots.
