NC UV for Leica D-Lux 8

This filter absorbs ultraviolet light and reduces the blue cast of daylight. In addition to minimizing unwanted blue tones, no additional colors or contrasts are added, and no exposure adjustment is required.

The filter absorbs 50% of UV light waves at 395 nanometers and gradually eliminates them before they enter the camera, restricting the light to the visible spectrum. This significantly reduces the bluish color cast that can occur when shooting videos or photos in daylight, achieving accurate color reproduction throughout the image.

High-quality optical Schott glass

Like the rest of the NiSi range, this filter is made from high-quality, precision-annealed optical glass. Its surface is finely ground and polished to ensure sharpness for today's high-resolution cameras.
