The NiSi C5 Matte Box System is a lightweight, versatile, and minimalist matte box system specifically designed for modern filmmakers. It is compatible with a variety of lenses and offers a practical solution for using NiSi Cinema Series filters as well as other 4mm filters.

Versatile Use

The C5 Matte Box is designed to meet the needs of creatives of all kinds, from quick shoots to large film productions. Combined with the new 4x4 rotating round filters from NiSi, it fits perfectly into the workflow of a "run-and-gun" cameraman, as well as in fully equipped production environments.

Together with NiSi's Cinema Filters, the C5 is the ideal choice for creating desired creative looks directly in the camera and mastering challenging lighting conditions.

Made from Durable Material

The C5 is made of robust aluminum, plastic, and carbon fiber to optimally protect the filters while keeping the weight low.

Clamp-On Design

The clamp-on design with adapter rings fits both lenses with filter threads and cinema lenses with an outer diameter of 95mm. The deep filter holder prevents unwanted glare and places the filter as close as possible to the lens to avoid vignetting at focal lengths up to 15mm full frame.

Low Air Resistance

The carbon fiber-reinforced top flag also reduces glare from light sources above the set. Side slots reduce air resistance, making the 350g lightweight system ideal for use on drones, gimbals, or vehicles.

Variety of Compatible Filters

The NiSi C5 comes in a practical pouch that holds all the included accessories, making it ready for use with various lenses. The holder features a top 4x4 slot for square filters or the specially designed rotating filters for the C5. The filter slot is suitable for 2mm or 4mm thick filters. Additionally, it has a side 4x5.65" slot for all common filters such as ND, graduated, effect, and polarizing filters.
