Another special feature of the NiSi Athena Prime Cinema lenses is the integration of drop-in filters in the E-, RF-, and L-mount versions (PL-mount is equipped with a rear filter holder). This innovative filter solution allows filmmakers to insert ND or Vario-ND filters directly into the lens without having to change the front lens. This speeds up the filter change and simultaneously reduces the risk of dust and dirt on the optics.
